Ana and Daniel’s Brix Napa Valley wedding was a timeless celebration where rustic wine country charm met elegant sophistication. Set in the heart of Napa Valley, Brix is known as one of the region’s most sought-after vineyard wedding venues, offering panoramic views, lush gardens, and refined indoor reception spaces.
The couple exchanged vows beneath the grand pergola in the garden courtyard, framed by Napa’s rolling vineyard hills and the soft sound of the nearby fountain. As a Napa Valley wedding photographer, moments like these — surrounded by vineyard landscapes and natural light — create imagery that feels both romantic and effortlessly elevated.
Their reception unfolded inside Brix’s chandelier-lit hall, where exposed brick walls and vintage mirrors reflected the warm glow of candlelight. From the chef-driven gourmet menu to the intimate fireplace lounge, every detail embodied the elegance of a luxury Napa winery wedding.
As twilight settled over Napa Valley, Ana and Daniel stepped beneath the bistro lights for their first dance, the vineyard air and golden sunset adding to the magic of their unforgettable Brix Napa Valley wedding celebration.
Napa Vineyard and Winery Weddings
Lynn and Ryan’s Tre Posti wedding in Napa Valley was a breathtaking celebration set against the rolling vineyard hills and iconic white rose gardens of this beloved Napa wedding venue. As a Napa Valley wedding photographer, documenting their day at Tre Posti felt like capturing the essence of a romantic vineyard wedding in wine country.
Their reception unfolded inside Tre Posti’s light-filled event space, where floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the Napa countryside and gourmet cuisine was thoughtfully prepared by the venue’s executive chef. With full-service coordination and seamless transitions throughout the day, this Napa vineyard wedding flowed effortlessly from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception.
As the sun dipped below the vineyards, we stepped out for golden hour portraits — the soft Napa Valley sunset wrapping them in warm light. The evening continued beneath twinkling café lights as Lynn and Ryan danced surrounded by family, friends, and the unmistakable glow of a Tre Posti Napa wedding celebration.

My wedding got bumped up 5 months and She was so nice and made the process easy, if you planned a wedding you know it can beyond stressful at times and booking her was so easy and made one less thing stressful. During the wedding she was awesome, great attitude, very positive, and willing to do whatever to make sure you felt special. Our photos are gorgeous! Thank you Vanessa!"

"I got married in Napa Valley and didn't know who to hire for my professional pictures. The venue recommended a few names and after contacting Vanessa I knew that is who I wanted to work with. She was very caring and patient. She was on time and didn't disrupt the moment when I was getting ready, instead she made it special. She gave us poses to do and talked to the venue to make sure we could go to a little bridge I wanted to take pictures at. I highly recommend her!! destination."

From the very first consultation to the final delivery of our images, every step of the process was seamless, professional, and filled with care.
On the day of our wedding, Vanessa was not only incredibly skilled but also a calming and positive presence. They blended into the day perfectly, capturing candid moments without ever being intrusive. The photos are a perfect mix of breathtaking portraits and those spontaneous, emotional snapshots that tell the story of the day. From the laugh-filled getting ready shots to the tender first look, every photo is a work of art."

"Vanessa is hands down the most professional and easy going photographer we’ve ever had. She is so good at her craft and puts so much work into the entire wedding day! I can’t say enough great things about her. "
Jessica
"I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Vanessa! From start to finish, she went above and beyond to capture every moment of our wedding day with such beauty, care, and artistry. If you’re looking for a Napa wedding photographer or planning a Sonoma wedding, she is the person you want behind the lens.
Every photo told a story—we laughed, cried, and relived the magic all over again when we got our gallery. The candid moments, the golden hour portraits, the little details we missed on the day—they caught it ALL. Not only are they incredibly talented, but they made us feel so comfortable and at ease throughout the day. It truly felt like we had a close friend documenting our love story. "
Lena
"Vanessa was recommended to me by a fellow photographer. So I immediately thought she would be good. She was able to accommodate our budget which was huge for us as we had a destination wedding. She was on time and immediately took charge of her role. I didn’t have to ask her or supervise her in any way. She took pictures of everything that was happening plus the venue and the flowers, rings, dress, shoes, etc. She found what she needed without giving me more work on my special day and did an amazing job! She even took amazing pictures of the building for our memories. Vanessa was friendly, caring and very helpful giving us poses and ideas. I am so happy with the way she made us feel during our private session. It all seemed natural and easy. I highly recommend her!!"

A. My approach blends fine-art composition with natural storytelling — timeless imagery that feels elevated but never stiff. On your wedding day I work quietly, stepping in with gentle direction for portraits so you feel relaxed and present rather than posed. Family formals are handled efficiently so we're never pulling you away from your guests for long. For cellar ceremonies or low-light receptions, I lean into the moody atmosphere rather than fighting it — that candlelight is part of what makes a Napa winery wedding feel so cinematic.
A. Most Napa Valley wedding photographers book 12–18 months out, especially for peak season weekends in spring and fall. I recommend reaching out as soon as your venue is confirmed — popular dates go quickly and securing your photographer early means one less thing to stress about as your wedding approaches. If you're working with a shorter timeline, it's always worth reaching out. I do occasionally have availability for weddings booked within 6 months, and I'm happy to let you know what's open.
A. I photograph weddings throughout Napa Valley at vineyard estates, luxury resorts, and private properties across Yountville, St. Helena, Calistoga, and Carneros. Some of my favorite venues include Meritage Resort, Carneros Resort, Auberge du Soleil, Tre Posti, Castello di Amorosa, and Hall Wines. Each Napa venue has its own personality — from the sweeping hillside views at Auberge to the dramatic cave settings at Castello di Amorosa — and I approach each one with an understanding of its unique light, landscape, and flow. If you don't see your venue listed here, reach out anyway. I'm familiar with most properties throughout the valley and love exploring new locations.
A. Yes — many of my couples fly in from the East Coast, Southern California, or internationally to get married in Napa Valley. I work closely with out-of-town couples to make the planning process feel manageable from a distance, helping with timeline design, venue coordination, and photography logistics so your wedding weekend flows seamlessly. Most destination couples also add a rehearsal dinner or next-day brunch coverage, and I'm happy to build a package around your full weekend vision.
A. Absolutely. I photograph weddings at Inglenook, Domaine Carneros, Cakebread, Meadowood, Solage, and Auberge du Soleil, among others throughout the valley. Napa's luxury venues each have a distinct character — grand estate architecture, working vineyards, cave dining rooms, hillside terraces — and I approach each one with an understanding of where the best light falls and how the space flows on a wedding day. If your venue isn't listed here, reach out anyway. I'm experienced throughout Napa Valley and love working at both well-known estates and more intimate private properties.
