From there, I’ll personally guide you through every step of the experience — from choosing the best session type and location to styling guidance, scheduling, and preparation tips. I’ll walk you through what to expect before, during, and after your session, answer any see questions you may have, and ensure everything feels seamless, relaxed, and thoughtfully planned from start to finish.

Now that you are ready to make some amazing memories with your family, I need you on my calendar! I will send you a contract and a retainer to complete the booking process. Once your documents are complete and the retainer is paid, I will then send you a welcome guide with lots of information on what to expect during your session. We'll work together on Styling to ensure you're feeling well prepared.

I offer a phone consultation for those who want to jump on a call to discuss any concerns or would like clarification on the welcome guide. We can also discuss wardrobe items you've chosen to ensure the choices photograph well together.

Today is the day we capture your sweet new baby! From family poses to enchanting props and posing, we'll seamlessly transition through a uniquely tailored session filled with laughter and unforgettable moments. The entire process, approximately 45-60 minutes, promises a joyful exploration for you, your partner, and your family members.
Throughout, I'll guide you with professional prompts and encouragement, ensuring a stress-free and memorable experience. Sit back and relax while I work my magic!
4. Your Portrait Session
Congratulations! Your newborn session was a success. I am so excited for you, and can’t wait for you to see the images that were captured during your session.
Your online gallery reveal will be ready within 1-2 weeks of your session. This is when you will choose a collection. Once the remaining balance is paid, I'll finalize your images within 2-3 weeks and deliver your gorgeous newborn gallery.

A: A hospital fresh 48 newborn session captures raw, candid moments within the first 48 hours after birth, usually in the hospital room with minimal posing. A home newborn session takes place within the first few weeks in the comfort of your home, focusing on relaxed, natural moments and family connections.
I offer BOTH Hospital Fresh48 and In-home Newborn Lifestyle.
Q: how should i prep for my bay area newborn session?
A: I'll deliver a guide on what to expect and how to prepare to ensure you're feeling confident and stress free.
Q: do you offer newborn props?
A: I offer a few options for different colored swaddles and a bassinet, however, if you have any keepsakes or special items you would like to incorporate - feel free to have them ready for us.
Q: when will i recieve my images?
A: You'll receive proofs within a week and a fully edited gallery within 2-3 weeks from then depending on the season. I always aim for faster.
